This history and record book is the ultimate source for the Sherwood Park Kings Athletic Club and Minor Hockey Association going back to 1976 player alumni. By any means, not an easy feat.

This record book sets the highest standard for all elite level minor hockey. Big thanks to jaydee for keeping track. He has done outstanding service in collecting and keeping records.

I have known jaydee for 30 years. The amount of stats that he has accumulated is incredible. Nobody in the world has done what Jaydee has in terms of sheer volume.

About the Author

John (jaydee) de Munnik, well known throughout the hockey community as “Jaydee” has now been involved in Sherwood Park minor hockey for over 40 years. His long list of tenure includes:
31 years Statistician | 3 years Registrar | 8 years SPKAC Historian & Stats | Assistant Coach | Referee

I helped out whenever and wherever help was needed. This was not a job; it was fun.

I guess it started with my long-time friend, Gordon McCormick. His oldest son, Jeff, was about to begin hockey at the Mighty-Mite level and he asked me if I wanted to help out.

The first number of years, the records of more than 100 categories were simply kept in a 3-ring binder, which each player received at the end of the season.
